NORA (Nationwide Organ Recovery Transport Alliance) works with Organ Procurement Organizations, Transplant Centers, Living Donor Networks, and Laboratories throughout the country and is hiring Part Time Drivers with 5-years of verified experience operating police, fire and ambulance vehicles under emergency conditions.
You will be transporting medical transplant teams, organs and transplant specimens via suburban's with lights and sirens.

24 hour shifts, 2-3 Shifts/Week, Call Pay, Great Hourly Rate and Training Pay.

You are part of the transplant team and your actions directly affect the outcomes for transplant recipients on the waiting list.
We will treat you with respect and provide you with the classroom and field training, continuing education and the necessary state of the art equipment to be successful in your mission of supporting the organ & tissue donation community and directly affecting the transplant outcomes.
Driver will be responsible to transport organ transplant teams to and from hospitals and airports, as well as ground trips to rural hospitals.
Other work would include organ donation donor samples for testing, import and export organs by ground transport to transplant centers, by charter jet transport and by commercial airline transports.
We also transport organ and tissue donation specialists 24/7.
Driver Qualifications Five years documented experience operating a police vehicle, fire engine or ambulance under emergency conditions utilizing red lights and sirens.
(no exceptions) retired Police, Fire or career EMS personnel strongly encouraged to apply.
This is Part-time position, however we require you have availability to schedule two or more on-call 24 hour shifts per week.
Must be at least 25 years of age Live within 30-35 minutes of Edmonds.
A clear criminal background check A clear state driving record, verified through DMV, reviewed annually Pass initial and all random drug testing.
(Cannabis, medical or recreational is a rule out) Attention to quality, safety and professional customer service Responsibilities and Duties Drivers for medical teams, organs, specimens, tissue donors and supplies utilizing NORA vehicles for emergent and non-emergent organ procurement transportation.
Vehicles, Training, Uniforms and Badges are provided.
Qualifications and Skills Professional and service oriented is a must.
5 years driving experience with emergency red lights and sirens.
