BARC is a privately-owned oncology practice located in the Edmonds area of Seattle whose vision is to create a comprehensive multi-specialty care facility.
BARC currently offers oncology, surgery, and CT services.
As we expand and grow, we are looking to add Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Radiation Oncology services.

You get to be at the forefront of that medicine! ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIRMENTS:
Receive, handle and treat clients and patients with skill, compassion, ACCURACY, and care from arrival to departure Gather, set up and input data into computer software system; including but not limited to all communication between clients, referring veterinarians, reference laboratories and any other patient specific communication.
Strong communication and client service skills.
Considerable tact and diplomacy are required.
Ability to work with clients and patients in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner.
Work well with all team members and ensure that your actions support the hospital, the doctors, and the practice philosophy.
Schedule appropriate appointments, being cognizant of how those appointments affect all columns in the schedule.
Answering phones - handle heavy call volumes, while maintaining composure, professionalism professional and compassion during the calls.
Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the waiting room and reception area Provided BARC records/letters to referring veterinarians Coordinate specialty diagnostics Prepare and/or assist in the preparation of authorization forms Prepare invoices and receive payments Print daily computer reports and reconcile at close of business each day Prepare deposits (check, cash, etc.
) Perform general physical activities that require bending, standing, stooping, moving from room to room, sit, talk, and listen; may be required to sit, walk or stand for long periods of time; will use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel; will reach with hands and arms.
Must have good vision, including peripheral vision, fine detail, distance, depth perception, close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to focus Must be able to use computer and be in front of a computer screen during entire shift Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the day with help Regular attendance and timeliness are an essential function in order to fulfill the requirements of this position.
Candidates should be friendly and have a client focused approach with each case and be dedicated to care, compassion and quality.
Candidate should be comfortable working in a fast paced/sometimes stressful and emotional environment.
Prior veterinary experience required.
